  • Should the driver be included in the number of passengers?

    Yes. 'Passengers' refers to those travelling on the ferry, not just the additional passengers in a vehicle.

  • How do I know if I should be travelling as a freight vehicle or not?

    This varies from one ferry company to another however as a general rule, any vehicle carrying commercial goods and vehicles designed to carry commercial goods should travel as freight. If in any doubt then please contact us.

  • How do I pay for my booking?

    All tickets must be paid in full at time of booking. We accept all major payment cards, some local payment methods and PayPal. We generally do not allow bank transfers to be used as payment method though may accept on a case by case basis.

  • Why are there no sailings for when I want to travel?

    This either means that timetables have not yet been released for sale, the ferry is not running on that day or the ferry is full. If in doubt then please contact us.

  • Why can't I get a price or pay in my local currency?

    Where possible we show prices in local currency however we only collect payment for tickets in the currency that we are charged for the ticket by the supplier. It will be stated during the quotation process in cases where a currency conversion has been used and if this is the case, the amount and currency that you will be charged in.

  • Can I amend my ferry booking?

    If your ticket permits you to amend your booking then yes. Please log into My Account for further information or alternately please contact us.

  • Can I take my pet or guide dog on the ferry with me?

    Most ferry companies allow the carriage of pets, usually for a small fee. The length and type of crossing will determine whether your pet stays in the vehicle or spends the crossing in a dedicated pet’s area. Where it’s possible to include pets in your booking online we will inform you of where you pet will spend the crossing. If in doubt then please contact us. You are responsible for ensuring that you comply with the necessary regulations and meet the requirements of each country or territory that you are travelling to or from.

  • When do I need to check in?

    This varies from one ferry route to another. Latest check in times are displayed at time of booking and are shown on you booking confirmation email. If you are travelling with pets or require assistance at the port then we advise that you allow extra time.

  • Where can I find more information on my rights to refunds and compensation in the event of cancellations and delays?

    If you are travelling to or from a port within the European Union then please visit the European commission website. For travel to or from ports in other territories please consult the relevant body.

  • Do I need a passport?

    When travelling on domestic services within the country where your passport was issued a valid I.d card is sufficient however for international services or if you are not travelling within a country where your passport was issued then a passport is required to travel.
